A distance of approx 40 miles with pedal assist can be achieved on a fully charged battery(depending on the weight of rider and road / weather conditions).

Just pedal the bicycle off and the power is fed in smoothly to assist your ride, if you need there is a thumb throttle to allow you to feed in the power without pedaling once you are on the move.
